Often, these situations occur for explanabe reasons. We have outlined some causes, along with how to resolve them, below.
Q1. "My start time and end time covered the length of my service, but my ability to check-in turned off early"
1A: When setting up a service please understad that the "end time" does not cause the service to deactivate, this is determined by the "lag" time you have assigned to the service, and is the number of minutes AFTER THE START TIME, so a 30 minute lag time would allow a service to remain open for check-in 30 minutes after the start time. Resolution: extend the lag time for the number of minutes desired.
Q2. "I have multiple services set up but when we check our attendance reports, people we know attended the second service only are showing in the first service attendance records"
A2: This situation is probably the result of the first service over-lapping the second. Two services can not be active on the same computer at the same time, if this is the case, the service that activated first is the only service people will be able to check into until the first service is no longer active. Resolution: Shorten the lag time on the first service so it will turn off at, or before, the lead time for the second service.
Q3. "I created a new service, and it shows as "Active", but I can't check anyone in"
A3: Whenever you are creating/adding a new service After your rooms are set up, those rooms will not automatically be available for the new service. Resolution: You will need to edit each room you want to be available for that service, and select the new service so the room will be available.
Q1. "I have set up a room to be active during a service, but the kids that are suppose to check into that room show "Not Available", and are not able to check-in"
A1: When setting up a room, whichever promotion type you decide to use for that room (Grade, Age, or Development), you must be sure the min/max is set up to make the room availalbe only those who meet the criteria. For example, if your 3-year-old room has the Age-based option selected with a min/max of 3 to 3, Lambslist will only make that room available to 3-year-old children. If the room is for 2nd graders, the promotion wil be on "Grade-based" and the min/max will be for grade 2. Also, if using the grade-based option, the child will need to have the appropriate grade assigned to them within their account. Resolution: Check the room for the appropriate promotion option, then check the min/max. If these are correct, check to make sure the correct grade is assigned to the child, or (if the room is a Development-based room) the "dev lock" is checked.
